2020 has been quite the year and the final quarter looks like it might be just as challenging.
As the Horsemanship Journal /Western Horse UK team start looking at the final issue for 2020 (published in December), we thought it would be wonderful to round out the year with your stories of 2020.
How have you coped with the challenges of 2020, maybe you suddenly had to fit in homeschooling with your yard duties or were furloughed and managed to spend more time with your horse. Did you opt to stop riding during the lockdown and concentrate on groundwork?
Did you spend lockdown reading horsemanship books or watching training videos, then made some changes to your usual practice over the summer? Perhaps you opted for online showing - how did it go?
I'm sure there are lots of wonderful horse-related lockdown stories that you could tell us, and we would love to include them in the December special feature.
Don't worry if you’re not a great writer or storyteller, if you send us the outline, we can help craft your story.
To be included in the feature, please send your stories to [email protected] no later than the 8th of November.
We will do our best to have all the stories we receive included in the magazine, but we do have limited space, it will be at the editor's discretion as to which ones to include.
We love to include pictures with your story; please make sure you have your phone set to the highest possible resolution or use a digital camera, generally, pictures need to be larger than 1MB.
