Horsemanship Journal Dec 2020 Western Horse UK Dec 2020

Welcome to the December issue of Horsemanship Journal.

As 2020 draws to a close, we cannot help but look back at all we have endured, and learned, during this most unique year! In addition to our regular authors, this issue sees our readers contribute too, so sit back and relax as they share their experiences.

Linda Parelli discusses what to do when our horses argue with us. In the second of his 3-part series, renowned horseman and our HJ cover star, Jason Webb, talks about how bend is actually your friend, and Hanna Walton is back to explore winter connection with our horses.

All of us here at Horsemanship Journal wish you a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic 2021.

Thank you for your continued support.

Stay safe and happy trails!

I feel like the end of the year has come around really quickly, after March through to April seemed to go on forever, the rest of the year has flown by.

Given the year we have had, we asked readers to let us know how the year has impacted them, you can find our reader stories in both Western Horse and Horsemanship Journal.

Our regular authors round out the year with insightful articles that I'm sure you will find useful. Crissi McDonald talks about how consistency is the foundation of our relationship with our horses. Bella Barr regales how 'Purpose Driven Horsemanship' with Sean Coleman gave her a new understanding of the benefits of cow-work. Brandon McAuslan hones in on sound, and what it means for our horses. And Ben Longwell explores how a horse's comfort zone when untested can lead to misconception.

Finally, I'd like to thank our authors, suppliers, advertisers and subscribers for your support in 2020.

All of the Western Horse UK team wishes you a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic 2021.

Stay safe and happy trails!
